Take away from the workshop a recording of a story that you can pass on to your family for a “Gift of a Lifetime.” Creating a History Camp for Youth – You will learn creative ways to present pioneer history to youth through storytelling activities. Use of brief biographies of historical people of the region, photographs and historical events assist the youth to become “History Keepers.” Create crafts from stories told to enhance the “History Keepers” trip back in time.
